　We received many submissions of tanka poems for The 22nd  Tanka Poetry Contest in Honor of Keityu in 2024. Thank you very much.

◇　The number of entries for each category is as follows

　1) Children's Section (Elementary School Students) ....... 38 schools 9,646 students 9,646 poems

　2) Students (junior high and high school students) ......... 19 schools 3,200 students 3,200 poems

　3) Students and Foreigners (university students, international students and foreigners):

     .........71 students, 247 poems

　4) General section........................... ................................... 66 persons 191 poems

   Total    12, 983 people 13,284 poems

 

◇　The prize winners will be determined.

　　After the first and second screening, the final decisions on the 22 Special Prizes and the Kotonoha Prize will be made in mid-December.

　

　The winners will be notified by the end of December.

 

◇　Award Ceremony (tentative)

　　Date : February 1, 2025 (Saturday), from 2:00 p.m.

　　Place : Sonoda Gakuen Women's University, Building No. 4, 5th floor.
